Jasmin's Blog
I am a senior in high school, getting ready to go away to college. Don't really know what college yet. I might go to community college for a couple years then transfer to an away college. I want to study something in the pyschology field and I am also interested in journalism.
Until Next SpringI want to spend all my time on the lawn
Watching, breathing in the Oak, Birch, Willow
Starting from the end of the day till dawn
Their deaths are expected, their graves shallow
Tree’s small workers, with their ending stories
Deceasing with their gorgeous impressions
The leaves die with their infinite glories
Gold, red showing their merry expressions
Their deaths are nearing, now is their adieus
To see a life pass, not a soul to stay
Winter spells out its plan, living things loose
The crisp air nips as I sit, as I lay
And I anticipate for the life next spring
Once again I see their lives mending
Midnight Sky
Looking up into deep infinity
Feeling of no where to hide in darkness
Stars, Planets, Moons pulled down by gravity
Feeling small and nothing, but loneliness
All stars form a different constellation
To tell us stories from the great beyond
Moon gives us gifts as a consolation
To find one’s fondness in the sky a bond
Watching comet showers puts one at awe
Stars are falling so one can make a wish
Their lives can’t gain always leaving them raw
Dreaming of catching stars as you would fish
One thinks of the midnight sky as their friend
Dawn approaches us with midnight skies end
